Sponsors

We would like to extend a big thank you to the following:

  • Herefordshire Council (Community Pride Grant Scheme) for providing us with £745 which went towards the costs of hosting Crooked Well Meadow's Big Lunch and for buying some sports equipment, as well as a gazebo.
  • Marches Housing for a grant of £50 which went towards the costs of our Big Lunch.
  • Kington Town Council for two grants totalling £1000. The money received during 2010/11 was spent on running a WildPlay session on 22 July 2010 and buying a mini-soccer goal. The money we have just received will be spent on getting a bench and a bin installed in the toddler area and on running a further play session on the meadow during the summer holidays.
  • Kington Building Supplies for donating the materials for two benches and one picnic bench. And also to Steve Oliver for making them!
  • Tarmac for donating the six large boulders that have been sited down by the back brook. And thanks also to Bryan Griffiths for getting them onto the meadow.
  • V8Media for designing and hosting our website.
  • West Mercia Police Trustees for funding the purchase of a lockable notice board.
  • Amey Herefordshire for printing flyers and leaflets advertising our Grand Opening.
