Future Plans?

The group would like to further enhance the Meadow and are actively looking at raising more funds.

Ideas include:

  • Holding more play events during the holidays;
  • Installing more bins;
  • Getting a football goal installed;
  • Installing more seating around the site; and
  • Planting wildflowers/shrubs.

The play space’s design includes many of the ideas and suggestions that were gathered from consulting local residents and youngsters. The design has attempted to balance the use of manufactured play equipment with creating a natural environment for play through the use of hard and soft landscaping.
