This all started with a public meeting at the Youth Centre on 5th March, 2009.

A further open meeting was held on 23rd April, 2009 including some reminiscence for the older ones and encouraging the younger ones to draw/list some ideas.

Following this meeting, further children at the Primary School and Secondary School were consulted and we also spoke to other people with an interest in Crooked Well Meadow.

A third open meeting was held on 11th June, 2009 and this focused on making sure that the necessary things were covered in the design brief.

An Open Morning was held on the meadow on 3rd October, 2009 to display the plans and to talk to people about our hopes for the future.

A site meeting was held on the meadow on 1st March, 2010. This was a chance for people to have an update on the progress of the works and to raise any issues.

Those who helped with the tidy up of the meadow on 21st March, 2010 and who have shown their desire to getting this project up and running, voted on committee roles.
